Phew! What a month! It has been a while isn't it?Good day (or night as the case my be)LinkedIn fam 🤭June was quite eventful for me, I would love to participate in the June dump challenge but due respect won't be given to those who deserving of it😅Therefore, I would first celebrate my completion of the Hon.Justice Innocent Umezulike Foundation Internship Programme in the 9th of June 2023. I appreciate the tutors, in the person of Professor Violet Aigbokhaevbo who taught us on the subject of Effective Legal Research and Understanding the facts and principles of law. Also, the second tutor, Emmanuel Olowononi who quite passionately delved into the matters of the Essentials of Law Undergraduate and Bar Finals Examinations and was able to impact in us an overload of knowledge 🔥The session was relatable and most importantly actively participatory.Last but not least, Kelechukwu Uzoka, MCIArb.(UK) did justice to the subject of Effective Advocacy in Nigeria. He tapped deep into the nitty-gritty of the subject matter and left us very much informed and more knowledgeable in that aspect of law. Finally, Ruth Soronnadi, went beyond the moderator and became a mentor to us all. She gave solid advice, admonished us to take responsibilities and to actively participate in whatever we find ourselves in. A month now and her impact still stands true✨Apart from the intellectual experience, I learnt the art of learning from others, networking, active participation and life skills. Indeed, this internship gave more than expected and it will be forever appreciated.I thank the brains behind the commencement of the internship programme, the very distinguished speakers and most of all the moderator of the program.Coming in quite late, but the need to appreciate the opportunity given to me subdued the overflowing guilt😅Moving strong on self-development, My journey continues... #learning #development #experience #opportunity

"Possessingknowledge about something and practicallyexperiencingthe same are two entirely distinct things and both demand expertise in their individual capacity. Institutions, organizations, academics, etc. are some sources for gaining theoretical and practical knowledge."A great read for Law Students and how NGO internships can prepare you for the future!Read more here: 👇 https://lnkd.in/dUBk_FbK

I completed a one-month internship with AL-Qarni Law Associates where I had the opportunity to learn and work with experienced seniors such as Sajjad Hameed Yousafzai and Zul Qarnain Advocate. It was an honor to work with them. During my time there, I learned a new way of summarizing judgments that is helpful for lawyers, students, and ordinary people alike. If you want to find judgments in an easy-to-understand way, you can check out Aain wa Qanoon platform. #judgement #summarization
