Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I love that it is all about food, family, and thankfulness. My hubby usually likes to take care of the turkey (or turkeys - he's obsessed with leftovers) by deep frying or smoking. That means that I'm in charge of the side dishes. Green beans, corn, butternut squash, and sweet potatoes are almost always on the menu in some way or another.
