📖 Shameless plug, personally my first publication as a #chiropractor in the Chiropractic Journal of Australia.📖 In it, discussion and many thoughts are shared with Dr Bill Hayward, Dr Lyndon Amorin-Woods. We emphasise the importance of chiropractic care principles within and alongside the Indigenous strength-based approaches to better health and how strongly they resonate collectively. Some key take-aways:🔑 The strength-based lens works very synonymously with the current biopsychosocial model of health, whereby patient and practitioner work together to attain shared goals for improved clinical outcomes.🔑 To include, promote and consider the chiropractic profession in greater capacity within Aboriginal Medical Services, Community Controlled Health Organisations and the like.🔑 Tie-in with preventative health principles in both the clinical and broader population as best practice to offset disease before it manifests fully and better appreciate the distal and proximate relationships with chronic disease.🔑 An optimal state of health as the starting point for care delivery, sometimes referred to as salutogenesis, rather than a waiting until something bad manifests itself in the body approach.#chiropractic #indigenoushealth #strengthbased #salutogenesis

"InTrue Health Chiropractic, Inc. v. McKesson Corp., the Ninth Circuit affirmed the district court’s decertification of a “junk fax” class, finding that individual facts predominated because Plaintiff presented no viable methodology for distinguishing between putative class members who received faxes on stand-alone fax machines and those that received faxes through an online fax service (presumably via e-mail). This follows the Federal Communication Commission’s determination in 2019 that faxes sent through an online fax service do not violate the TCPA. Thus,True Healthappears to sound the death knell for “junk fax” class actions, at least in the Ninth Circuit.
